Maintenance Optimization Specialist

Rio Tinto's Gove Operations in Northern Australia require a skilled maintenance specialist to support the effective implementation of asset management strategies and business plans.
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate large, complex optimization projects across our assets, focusing on maximizing asset performance through lifecycle management, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate large contracting teams to ensure adherence to contract conditions.
- Develop and execute cost-effective maintenance plans aligned with operating requirements.
- Investigate equipment failures utilizing asset management best practices.
- Evaluate repair options to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Review maintenance projects to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and safety standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members and contracting partners, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in technical or professional discipline.
- Project Management: Ability to lead maintenance optimization projects from conception to completion.
- Problem Solving Skills: Capacity to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Leadership: Ability to supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians effectively.
