We are seeking a highly skilled Haematology Specialist to join our team at the Royal Hobart Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in laboratory diagnostics and academic activities within Haematology services.
Key Responsibilities:- The successful candidate will participate in diagnostic testing and research initiatives, providing consultation services in General Haematology, Transfusion and Coagulation.
- This role involves representing the specialty on hospital committees and contributing to management of haemophilia and coagulation disorders.
- Teaching and training undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervising specialist trainees, and providing workplace teaching are key aspects of this position.
- The selected individual will maintain involvement in research activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribution to quality and safety processes, including development of safety systems and training, is also expected.
The ideal applicant will be allocated duties commensurate with their qualifications and experience, ensuring a seamless integration into our team.
