Job Title: Regional Hospital Speech Pathologist
About the Role:This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Hospital Speech Pathologist in a regional hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our admitted services (acute/sub-acute). You will have the chance to develop your clinical expertise and broaden your skill set within a range of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:The caseload will cover adult sub-acute/rehab - assessment and intervention with adult hospital populations. You will ideally have experience in the management of adults with disorders of communication and swallowing within a hospital setting. Videofluoroscopy competency is highly regarded. Accommodation is provided in the dedicated allied health houses within walking distance of the hospital, inclusive of all bills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Grade 2 speech pathologist or experienced Grade 1 clinician welcome to apply
- Prioritizing and managing workload
- Clear decision-making
- Ability to draw on and support team members
