We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Strategic Planning Officer. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on strategic planning matters and undertaking various planning tasks.
This role involves formulating, assessing, and reviewing planning policies, structure plans, and town planning scheme amendments. You will also be required to prepare and project manage various strategic planning studies.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate, assess, and review planning policies, structure plans, and town planning scheme amendments
- Prepare and project manage various strategic planning studies
- Degree qualified in Urban and Regional Planning (or equivalent)
- Eligible for membership to the Planning Institute of Australia
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven negotiation and financial management experience
- Advanced knowledge of Town Planning Administrative and Statutory procedures
