Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy, based at St. Andrew's Private War Memorial Hospital in Spring Hill, Brisbane. This is a 12-month contracted full-time position, working a 76-hour fortnight.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-level pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers
- Dispense and supply medications for hospital and cancer patients
- Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
- Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards
- Complete data entry of patient-specific information into database
- Assist with patient account enquiries
- Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees
- Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize their workload. You will be a strong communicator and able to work autonomously and within diverse team structures. A compassionate and team-oriented attitude is essential, as is a desire to have a positive impact on another person's life.
Preferred Requirements- Dispensing experience in an Australian-based hospital or community pharmacy
- Certificate in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent
