Job Description

The Product Sourcing Coordinator is a tactical sourcing role that actively supports tenders and deals. This dynamic and fast-paced position requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to find immediate solutions by leveraging current and potential new suppliers to secure the best products at the most competitive price.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver on project deadlines based on tender and deal requirements
  • Project manage each assigned project from start to finish
  • Sourcing of new products
  • Investigate and introduce new suppliers and products to the portfolio team
  • Negotiate with suppliers for tenders and deals, requiring consultation with the portfolio team when necessary
  • Ensure understanding and communication of key areas of the procure-to-pay process for new suppliers or where existing suppliers may waive existing commercial agreements
  • Negotiate bulk deal opportunities with new and existing suppliers
  • Collaborate with the portfolio team to ensure alignment and project outcomes meet their strategic objectives
  • Work with interdepartmental teams
  • Drive a strategic selection approach for Back-To-School (BTS) products used for quoting BTS subtype orders, working closely with the Education Sales Team assigned to you for the season
Requirements
  • Similar role or previous experience in category or procurement assistant
  • Exposure to supplier negotiations and relationships
  • Commercial awareness
  • Self-sufficient, autonomous, and driven by managing your own piece of business
  • Organized and excellent time management
  • Strategically minded and forward thinking
  • Autonomous and self-sufficient
