About the Role

We are seeking a casual lecturer or tutor to join our team in the School of Accounting, Auditing & Taxation. As a casual academic, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality teaching, marking, and student consultation in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
  • Mark and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
  • Provide student consultation and support
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the School through administrative duties
  • Participate in professional development activities, such as training and workshops
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake quality teaching in undergraduate or postgraduate courses
  • Ability to work positively and cooperatively in a teaching-intensive environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Accounting or Taxation, or a dual degree with specialization in Accounting or Taxation
  • CPA or CA ANZ qualified desirable (or equivalent)
  • Work experience in accounting, taxation, or finance capacity
  • Some teaching experience in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Auditing, Business Taxation, and Tax Policy
