We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Greek speaking support professional to join our team as a casual support worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves providing direct care assistance to clients, promoting their independence and wellbeing, and ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal hygiene support and medication reminders to clients
  • Assisting clients with light housekeeping duties
  • Promoting independence among clients by encouraging participation in activities that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing
  • Establishing positive relationships with clients through effective communication and active listening
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support or related field
  • Previous experience working in the social care industry (an advantage but not mandatory)
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insurance
  • An Australian Federal Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
  • COVID-19 Full vaccination (Aged care industry standard)
  • First Aid and CPR certifications preferred
