About the Position

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the mechanical infrastructure of our coal mine.

You will report to the CHPP Mechanical Supervisor and be responsible for the inspection and maintenance of the CHPP mechanical infrastructure on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake equipment inspections, manage maintenance and improvements, and assist with installations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant mechanical trade qualification: fixed or mobile plant.
  • Proven experience in CHPP or other heavy industry roles.
  • The ability to work well within a multi-skilled team.
  • A dedication to maintaining safe work practices.
  • A methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Sound computer literacy.
