Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled crane technician to join our team in Bassendean, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Performing repair work on cranes, installations of cranes, hoists, and materials handling equipment
  • Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment
  • Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance, and fit using precision measuring instruments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical trade qualification
  • Previous experience within the crane industry
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Must have a current manual driver's license
  • Must be safety conscious and able to promote a safe environment

Benefits:

- Competitive hourly rate ($35-$45)

- 8 hour shift schedule

- Must be available to work overtime and travel to remote sites when required
