**Job Opportunity for Skilled Crane Technician:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced crane technician to join our team in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in servicing, breakdown repairs and maintenance of Franna Cranes and Tadano All Terrain Cranes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, both internal and client-based, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to arrange timely delivery of plant and equipment, meeting contractual and project schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records through the use of registers, providing valuable insights into plant performance and potential issues.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and coordinate repairs, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in servicing, breakdown repairs and maintenance of Franna Cranes and Tadano All Terrain Cranes, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes.
  • Australian recognised mechanical trade certificate, demonstrating a high level of technical expertise.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in mining, heavy industrial or minerals processing environments, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven record of coaching and mentoring individuals and teams.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills, with demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport, ensuring seamless integration into the team.
