We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional to support our local events and economic initiatives as an Economic Development Officer. In this part-time, fixed term role, you will assist with the approval processes for event and film permit applications, ensuring smooth coordination between stakeholders.
The key responsibilities- Support the delivery of actions from the Economic Development and Visitor Economy Strategies
- Contribute to the implementation of strategic projects that promote local business activity and regional growth
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent problem-solving skills.
