Job Title: Navigating Mental Health Support

We are seeking an individual to fill the role of Intake Service Navigator, where they will be responsible for improving accessibility to the health system for individuals with severe mental illness and associated psychosocial disorders.

The successful applicant will work closely with local health networks and NDIS Local Area Coordinators to facilitate consumer access and enhance coordinated referral processes. They will also engage with and advocate for individuals, connect them with appropriate support networks, and empower them on their recovery journey.

This is a full-time ongoing opportunity that offers flexibility and benefits such as salary packaging, meal and entertainment allowance, and paid parental leave. If you have a Diploma IV qualification or above in a relevant field, lived experience of mental health recovery, and current valid driver's license, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification or commensurate experience in working in a support role for people with mental illness
  • Lived experience of mental health recovery
  • Current valid driver's license and ability to undertake travel for the role
