Operations Manager Position

The position of Operations Manager is a leadership role that requires experience in managing teams, driving business development and improving operational efficiency.

This key role oversees expanding projects, implements quality systems, and drives business growth, leveraging expertise in manufacturing and building industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to achieve operational goals, foster innovation and quality, and work closely with a second-in-command to align objectives.
  • SOURCE new opportunities, maintain existing customer relationships, and identify growth prospects in the caravan and RV industry.
  • Oversee multiple fabrication projects, ensure timely delivery and quality standards, coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Implement ISO9001, drive continuous improvement, and prepare the business for industry accreditation.
  • Develop strategies to stabilize workflows, optimize resource allocation, and production scheduling, collaborate with a second-in-command for smooth operations.
  • Utilize Autodesk Inventor for design and production planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in operations management within manufacturing or fabrication industries.
  • A strong background in the building industry, additional manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing quality management systems, preferably ISO9001.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software.
  • Experience in project management and client relations.
  • Familiarity with RV and caravan industry standards (desired).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • An analytical thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
