Seeking a skilled professional to manage support coordination services under the NDIS environment.

The role involves day-to-day operations and management of support coordination service, ensuring individuals access supports and implementing NDIS plans in accordance with relevant standards.

Main duties include:

  • Developing positive relationships with customers, their families, and stakeholders
  • Taking intake referrals from various channels, including the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA)
  • Providing responsive support coordination service, enabling people with disabilities to exercise choice and control when receiving supports and services
  • Supporting individuals to access NDIS and other disability services
  • Responding to requests for service, creating service bookings and claiming matters through the NDIS provider portal
  • Carrying out administrative duties as required
  • Complying with NDIS Code of Conduct and WHS Regulations and Guidelines

Selection criteria include:

  • Good command of English
  • Fluency in Vietnamese
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social work, Education, Leisure and Recreation, Welfare, Community Services, Case Management, Disability or related disciplines
  • Relevant knowledge and understanding of NDIS legislation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organisational skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • Holding valid police check certificate and first aid certificate
  • Willingness to undergo NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to employment
  • Holding a valid Driver's Licence and owning a fully insured vehicle
  • Having at least two doses of COVID-19 Vaccination

Desirable experience includes working in NDIS Support Coordination and willingness to travel across different Sydney metropolitan areas.
