Early Childhood Educator Role Overview

As an Early Childhood Teacher-Room Leader, you will have a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of young children. You will be part of a passionate team that fosters a safe and secure environment where children feel brave, curious, and imaginative in their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality education programs based on contemporary early childhood thinking and practice.
  • Lead professional development and learning through exceptional coaching, conferences, mentoring, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to share best practice and learn from each other.
  • Build strong relationships with families and ensure they feel informed and supported.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor's degree or higher) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
  • Valid VIT/Teacher's registration in VIC.
  • Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
  • Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher.
