As a Learning Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their full potential and create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing direct learning support to students across all grade levels (K-12), addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges through targeted interventions and strategies.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement tailored educational strategies that meet individual student needs.
- Assist in the delivery of evidence-based intervention programs, working closely with students to improve foundational skills and helping them reach targeted academic milestones.
- Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives and ensure they understand key concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and LearningDeliver high-quality learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and motivation.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to promote academic growth and improvement.
Provide supportive services to students, families, and staff to foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Work collaboratively with students, teachers, and support staff to address student well-being and safety concerns.
- Establish relationships with students, parents, and caregivers to build trust and support.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia

- Statements of service from previous child-connected roles
