Leadership Role in Supply Chain Management

A prominent Australian automotive parts distributor seeks an accomplished Supply Chain Manager to oversee the efficient operation of its warehousing, purchasing, and logistics systems. This dynamic position offers a competitive remuneration package and long-term career prospects.

About the Position:

  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  2. Maintaining optimal stock levels through timely reordering and renegotiating contracts with suppliers to achieve best value and reliability.
  3. Managing warehouse staff, including rostering and performance oversight, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to optimize stock control.
  2. Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery and high-quality products.
  3. Liaise with other departments and customers regarding outbound logistics and delivery.

Suitable Candidate Profile:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, warehousing, or logistics management.
  2. Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  3. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

What We Offer:

  1. Annual Salary: $80,000–$90,000 + Superannuation
