Job Title

Manufacturing Technician role in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your mechanical maintenance experience and skills to contribute to the success of our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a maintenance environment, based across Australia. They will be required to work effectively with operators, line maintainers, and production personnel to ensure the uptime of equipment and extend equipment lifecycles.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices, site policies, and procedures, including contractor compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel on preventative maintenance, planned maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with ensuring parts are reliably sourced and ordered to enable effective planned maintenance and quality/efficiency of repairs.
  • Aid with team problem solving and decision making.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Preventative Maintenance routines along with overhaul scheduling and documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade qualified and completed apprenticeship
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience of pneumatics and hydraulic systems
  • Competent welding skills
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Hands-on practical experience in a maintenance environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
