About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Kinetic Fleet Services. As a key member of our Fleet Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles remain in optimum condition through top-quality maintenance and repairs.

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including general maintenance and repair, as well as major engine component rebuilds. You will work with a range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring that every day is fresh and exciting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and repairs using computer-controlled systems
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair processes
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleets
  • Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential)
  • Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
