About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Visual Effects Specialist to join our team at Flying Bark Productions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in creating high-quality visual effects for animated features, with a focus on character animation and environment work.

Responsibilities
  • Create complex visual effects scenes using Houdini, Katana, and Arnold software
  • Collaborate with other artists and directors to ensure seamless integration of visual effects into live-action and animated elements
  • Develop and maintain a library of effects presets for future use
  • Provide training and support to junior crew members as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in visual effects production, with a focus on character animation and environment work
  • Expertise in Houdini, Katana, and Arnold software, with knowledge of Maya and Nuke an advantage
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Flying Bark Productions offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
