Job Description:

As a dedicated member of our support team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients. Your key responsibilities will include providing physical, emotional and social support to clients, implementing training programs to enhance independent living skills, and working within our service philosophy to achieve the highest possible standard of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing encouragement, training, assistance and support to clients for their personal care such as bathing, toileting, dressing, eating.
  • Assisting clients with domestic duties such as housekeeping, cooking, cleaning, laundry and gardening.
  • Providing social interaction and emotional support to clients.
  • Accompanying clients in a range of activities to promote maximum physical and social participation into community life.
  • Administering prescribed medication in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Providing transport for clients as required.
  • Completing general domestic and maintenance duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • An understanding of manual handling.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A Working With Vulnerable People/Childrens Card.
  • A National Police Check.
  • The right to work in Australia (i.e. Birth Certificate/Visa).
