We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at Saab Australia. As a key member of our Naval Combat Systems division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of configuration and data within our projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Implementing configuration and data management processes in development projects, utilizing CM tools such as Windchill
- Collaborating across engineering disciplines and organizations to ensure seamless integration and management of configuration and data
- Managing export-controlled data and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures
- Preparing agendas and minutes for Configuration Control and Review Boards, and supporting the analysis of proposed changes to assess their impact on the overall system
- Maintaining configuration item status and delivering Configuration Status Accounting Reports as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in implementing configuration and data management processes in development projects
- Strong understanding of CM tools such as Windchill and ability to utilize them effectively
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across engineering disciplines and organizations
- Ability to manage export-controlled data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures
