Merchandise Planning Opportunity

This Sydney-based company is seeking a skilled Merchandise Planner to join their Head Office team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering and monitoring merchandise planning and inventory strategies, ensuring the right range is available to meet customer demand while achieving sales and margin objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Own end-to-end inventory management, including Open-to-Buy planning, allocations, and replenishment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Buying teams on forecasts, assortment plans, and seasonal reviews to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Analytical Support: Provide analytical support and reporting to Senior Leadership to inform strategic decisions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Extensive retail planning experience with a proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen, strategic mindset, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Capabilities: Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical capabilities.
