We are seeking individuals who have experience operating machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating machines to meet production standards for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.
  • Feeding product into converting machines and arranging product at machine discharge points.
  • Stacking products onto palettes for further processing ensuring all board stacked are neat and stable.
  • Assisting in machine setup, dismantling and job changes tasks for a production run.
  • Performing quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers.
  • Maintaining safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • A reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills and a focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
  • The ability to work 8 - 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster – two weeks of days-two weeks of afternoon.
  • Proven ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in quality control.
