About This Role

This role involves leading the development and execution of a state-wide advisory services plan to build our local profile, win and deliver work using teams in Australia and Southeast Asia while collaborating globally with Arup specialists. Your focus will be on supporting the development of a diverse service offering that differentiates us in the marketplace and attracts top talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, secure, and deliver advisory projects across Australia, where client needs demand it.
  • Develop a network with relevant parts of our business to ensure expertise is deployed across planning, design, engineering, finance, and research sectors to meet specific client needs.
  • Seek innovative solutions and embrace methods that add value to clients, the environment and society. Cross sell wider services as well as identify and develop opportunities for us via 'trusted advisor' relationships.
  • Support our leaders across Australasia to identify talent, build capacity, develop skills, and share experience.
What We Are Looking For
  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications within an appropriate area.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions / professional bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
  • Technical knowledge and pre-existing relationships with tier 1 Australia-based infrastructure investors and/or financial advisers.
  • Understanding of investor decision making processes and metrics, including mechanisms to mitigate risks to our company.
  • Demonstrated success in leading the execution of technical and commercial due diligence mandates, and preparing compelling pitches to clients.
