Mechanical Fitter


Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs of processing departments and other operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the achievement of maintenance targets by practicing preventative maintenance
  • Maintain working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures
  • Complete administrative requirements associated with maintenance duties
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout maintenance workshops
  • Be available to operate/maintain plant equipment as required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance within a processing plant operation
  • Mechanical trade qualifications
  • Sound understanding of machinery and care of fixed plant equipment
  • Valid C Class vehicle license and relevant tickets
