The Client Experience Librarian plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional library services to students and staff.
They engage with multiple channels daily, contribute to outreach programs, and foster a client-focused, supportive, and engaging library experience.
This role is based at our Geelong campus and requires full-time fixed-term employment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver accessible and high-quality library services to meet student and staff needs.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders, including students, staff, and the broader community.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of outreach programs to promote library services.
- Eligibility for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association or equivalent experience/education/training.
- Demonstrated experience in front-line customer service with a commitment to excellence.
- Experience using various software applications and library operating systems.
- Understanding of academic library services and their importance in supporting student success.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, diplomacy, tact, and discretion while handling sensitive information.
