About the Social Impact Manager Role

The successful candidate will have proven expertise in implementing strategic workforce development initiatives, social outcomes, and local benefits programs in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to support long-term employment pathways, apprenticeships, trainees, and workforce training programs.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion across employment and training initiatives, including culturally diverse groups, young people, and women.
  • Support initiatives that maximise local business participation, SME engagement, and social enterprise partnerships.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance First Nations business and employment opportunities.
  • Champion cultural awareness, supply chain integrity, and community benefit programs.
  • Provide audit, reporting, and compliance support across government frameworks.
Requirements:

You will bring strong knowledge of government social procurement policies, as well as experience in designing and delivering workforce participation or training programs.

Additionally, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of related frameworks, such as the QPP and QIPP.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills are also essential for this role.
