Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of Australians who are disadvantaged, vulnerable or in crisis. We do this by providing a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services, as well as a range of treatment types.

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional AOD Team Leader who will provide leadership and be responsible for complex case management activities and oversee the work of case workers at Townsville RSC. This includes assessment and referral, education and support, which delivers a comprehensive client-focused service. In addition, this role also involves building networks and partnerships as required.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the performance of and provide support to therapeutic staff to deliver quality, efficient and effective services, in line with TSA and Recovery Services policy and procedure.
  • Provide leadership for team activities and attend and participate in staff meetings.
  • Demonstrate a supportive approach to other staff members.
  • Address performance or conduct issues as required.
  • In consultation with management, identify and implement service delivery improvements.
  • Assist with the development of policy and procedure.
  • Support management and other staff in accreditation and quality assurance processes.
