Cybersecurity Transition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Transition Specialist to join our Application Security team based in Melbourne.

\

The successful candidate will utilise their Business Analysis skills and work as part of a 2-person team transitioning and operationalising Penetration Testing Services to the Application Security team. Key to this is the development of close working relationships with peers, internal customers, and service providers.

\

The salary for this position is between $90,000-100,000 including super.

\

About the Role

  • \
  • Work with a senior team member to plan for moving existing Penetration Testing Service Management collateral and processes from its current team to the Application Security team\
  • Embed existing collateral and processes within the Application Security team\
  • Support the planning and execution of Penetration testing across the Enterprise\
  • Analyse the transitioned services and collateral for improvement opportunities\
  • Implement improved processes and tooling\
  • Collaborate with internal customers and Security Engineers in the Application Security team to ensure that Penetration Testing reports are understood and appropriately prioritised for remediation\

About You

\
  • \
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical IT experience, with exposure to security tools being advantageous\
  • Begnner-level involvement in the Cyber Security domain, such as participation in capture the flag hacking competitions or engagement in security industry meetups\
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst is advantageous\
  • Familiarity with security-related concepts, practices, and technologies is beneficial\
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities in mobile applications, web applications, and APIs is a plus\
