About the Role:

  • You will operate and adjust production machines to create parts or tools, ensuring high-quality output and efficiency.
  • Run diagnostic checks and troubleshoot problems in production to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Design new components and systems using CAD/CAM systems, applying your creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Repair machines and build components in repair facilities, demonstrating your attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Use programs to monitor machine processes and performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize productivity.
  • Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines, showcasing your manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.

Key Requirements:

  • You must be an Australian citizen or have full Australian working rights.
  • Motivation, enthusiasm, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
  • A car and driver's license are desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Completion of Year 10 is preferred, but not required.
  • You must be willing to undertake formal and on-the-job training while working towards your Certificate III qualification.
