Environmental Geoscientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geoscientist to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our environmental practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate complex environmental challenges and achieve compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Project Management: Oversee project-level health and safety, conduct desktop reviews, prepare environmental reports, and manage safety and environmental compliance on-site.
• Site Investigations: Plan, schedule, and manage site works, including subcontractor coordination, site contamination, and hydrogeological investigations in various locations.
• Data Analysis: Collect and manage environmental samples, perform data analysis, and interpret results using relevant software tools.
• Site Management: Act as Site Manager, ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining site documentation, and logging geological data to required standards.
• Office-Based Tasks: Assist in project management tasks, project controls and financial tracking, as well as technical report writing and management of deliverables.

• Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in environmental science, geoscience, geology, engineering, or hydrogeology.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years' experience in contaminated land management and/or hydrogeology, with a focus on safety and subcontractor management.
• Skills: Strong skills in data management using industry-standard tools and project/proposal management.
• Other: Willingness to work remotely on client sites; a valid driver's license is essential.
