Role Responsibilities
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the timely creation of precise work packages for maintenance tasks on vessels under contract. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and updating the Main Work Lists for designated maintenance periods.
  • Creating accurate and timely maintenance work packages.
  • Identifying material needs for maintenance tasks.
  • Forecasting work failure rectification in collaboration with Ship Teams.

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A formal qualification in Maintenance Management, Engineering, or a relevant trade qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, with experience in the Defence sector being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in CMMS systems.
  • Strong communication skills.

Desirable Skills
Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include:

  • Familiarity with asset management standards and processes.
  • Understanding of configuration management systems.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools, particularly Primavera P6.
