We are seeking a skilled handyman to perform various repair and maintenance tasks for residential and commercial properties in Melbourne.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent carpentry, painting, and repair skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform urgent, routine, and ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, and inspections on client premises.
  • Carry out basic carpentry work, including installing doors, locks, cabinets, and hanging wall fixtures and frames.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, plastering, and minor repairs.
  • Assist with bathroom/kitchen renovations and makeovers.
  • Handle rubbish removal, including the use of a van for waste disposal.
  • Collect materials from suppliers as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed thoroughly, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
  • Keep work sites and company vehicles clean and organized.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including response times, safety, and compliance.
  • Taking sufficient photos and videos before and after service.
  • Proficiency in using the company's system for service order management.
  • Maintain clear communication with the company and provide timely updates on work progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in general handyman services.
  • Strong carpentry, painting, and repair skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong team and work ethic
  • Current and valid full Australian driver's licence
  • Ability to push and pull varying weights
  • English and Mandarin preferred.
