Community Mental Health Worker

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with mental health conditions? Do you have a lived experience of recovery and want to share your knowledge with others?

We are seeking an experienced Community Mental Health Worker to join our team in Chatswood. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing peer support coaching services to adults in the community.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users to support their mental health recovery goals
  • Provide face-to-face sessions, peer support groups, and community-focused events to promote mental well-being
  • Model coach and problem-solve with clients based on your lived experience of mental health recovery

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in a related field or equivalent level of experience
  • 'Lived experience' of recovery from psychosis or severe mental illness
  • Comprehensive understanding of the recovery process and ability to communicate effectively
