**Clinical Governance and Education Lead Role Overview:**

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse Educator to work within the Clinical Governance Department in a key leadership role.

The successful candidate will champion continuous learning, enhance clinical excellence, and foster system-wide improvement while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practice models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support staff on clinical topics, promote a culture of learning and development, and promote a wellness model with stakeholders.
  • Support teams to address clinical risks by improving clinical systems and processes through provision of education and training.
  • Oversee safe medication management and support regulatory compliance and sound clinical governance.
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning and Development department to implement the clinical education strategic plan.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Diploma of Training Design and Development or Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education.
  • Minimum 5 years post graduate clinical experience within aged care and minimum 3 years' experience as a trainer/educator.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to prepare, deliver, and evaluate clinical education programs across multiple locations.
  • Ability to research literature and source relevant legislation, standards, best practice, and guidelines.
  • Solid experience using Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, ability to collect and analyse data.
  • Advanced practice expertise with the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team environment.
