For more information, visit: We are expanding our team and are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Business Development Director to oversee a dedicated team, drive strategic growth, and secure new clinical research opportunities through a consultative, solutions-focused sales approach.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of clinical trial operations and experience navigating complex client organizations.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing a pipeline from initial contact to contract signing.
Frequent domestic and international travel is expected; remote work flexibility may be available depending on your location.
Key Responsibilities: Business Growth & Client Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and close new business aligned with growth strategies; manage a pipeline of leads; expand within existing accounts by addressing unmet needs.
Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with decision-makers, monitor satisfaction, and serve as the strategic contact for key accounts.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop account plans, track market trends, and provide strategic input based on industry intelligence and customer feedback.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
7+ years of experience in business development or sales within a CRO.
Proven success in securing clinical trial contracts and achieving sales targets.
Deep understanding of drug development, regulatory frameworks, and clinical trial operations.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex relationships.
