About the Role

Marsh is currently seeking a Claims Examiner to join our team in either Sydney or Melbourne CBD. As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of notifications and non-complex claims under cyber policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of notifications and non-complex claims by providing a high level of service to clients and brokers.
  • Liaise with relevant insurers and providers to ensure timely and efficient claims resolution.
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, as well as present quarterly and/or annual reviews.
  • Participate in the peer review/audit process to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support new and expanded business endeavours through provision of claims review data for tenders, renewals and proposals.
  • Conduct marketing and client/broker education presentations to promote our services.
  • Provide support in complex matters as required, including research, fact analysis and policy wording interpretation.

About You

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills, with a proven track record of providing a high level of customer service.
  • Flexible and team player, with the ability to develop close partnerships with onshore and offshore colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
