Job Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic team member to join our catering team as a Catering Assistant.

As a valued member of our team, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional food service by preparing patient meal trays, taking meal orders, and assisting with food preparation tasks.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving meals and beverages in line with dietary requirements and hospital standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Assisting the broader catering team with daily operations and special requirements.
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Working across a rotating 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.

  • A sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practices.

  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or commercial kitchen setting (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster.
  • A willingness to embrace and promote our core values.
  • Certificate II or III in Hospitality (desirable).
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food handling compliance.
