Production Inspector Role

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Production Inspector to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a Production Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products by conducting thorough inspections and tests.

  • Conduct Quality Checks on Products: You will be responsible for inspecting products at various stages of production, identifying any defects or issues, and reporting them to the relevant teams.
  • Verify Supplier Quality Reports: You will review supplier quality reports to ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Document Inspection Results: You will record inspection results in our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Manage Failed Parts: You will move failed parts to a designated quarantine area and update the ERP system accordingly.
  • Raise Quality Alerts: You will identify and raise quality alerts for failed parts.
  • Outgoing Quality Checks: You will conduct outgoing quality checks on our products before they are shipped out.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment and computer-aided measurement machines (CMM).
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to understand complex technical problems.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and handle pressure.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to help with variety of tasks.
