About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care at Home Officer to join our team in Tamworth. As a Care at Home Officer, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Support: Provide daily living, personal care, and general house cleaning services to clients, as specified in their care plans.
  • Reporting and Communication: Follow clients' support plans and report any changes or concerns to the Care at Home Coordinator.
  • Medication Supervision: Assist with medication supervision and record basic clinical observations.
  • Collaboration and Liaison: Liaise with families, health professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure all client needs are met.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Aged or Community Care: Hold a Certificate III in Aged or Community Care or a related field.
  • Experience in Aged Care: Have previous experience working in the aged care sector.
  • First Aid Certificate: Hold a current First Aid Certificate.
  • Driver's License: Possess a full Australian Driver's License and comprehensive car insurance.
  • Availability: Be available to work weekends.

Selection Criteria

  • Police Check: Must have or be able to obtain a current National Police Check (AFP Code 22).
