Job Title: Finance Broker

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a Mortgage Broker with strong experience and qualifications to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in mortgage broking, a certification in finance and mortgage broking, and membership with a professional association such as MFAA or FBAA.
  • As a Mortgage Broker, you will be responsible for managing loan applications from initial inquiry to settlement, developing and maintaining strong relationships with banks and conveyancers, and providing excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loan Application Management: You will manage loan applications from initial inquiry to settlement, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Relationship Building: You will develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and conveyancers, fostering a network of contacts to secure loan approvals.
  • Customer Service: You will provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Team Support: You will support the principal and other brokers with loan applications, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive business success.
  • Lending Knowledge: You will stay up-to-date on various lending scenarios, including SMSF, FHOG, family guarantor, commercial, and construction finance, to provide informed advice to clients.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Lending Knowledge: You will have a strong understanding of lending bank policies, particularly for home and investment construction lending.
  • Communication Skills: You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Independent Work: You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Software Proficiency: You will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant financial software, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Education and Certifications:

  • Certification: You will hold a Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
  • Professional Membership: You will be a member of a professional association such as MFAA or FBAA.
