Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and recommend tailored lending solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end mortgage process, from application to settlement.
- Provide expert advice across a range of lending scenarios, including owner-occupied, investment, refinancing, equity release, and asset finance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with lender policies, compliance requirements, and market trends.
- 2–3+ years' experience in mortgage broking (or a strong banking background with proven results).
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (Diploma preferred).
- Proven track record of writing and settling loans.
- Strong knowledge of lender products, structures, and credit policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- A self-starter with drive, resilience, and a passion for helping clients.
- Commitment to compliance and delivering best-interest duty.
