Job Title: Personal Care Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our team at mecwa care. As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and using assistive devices.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, adhering to mecwa care's values and policies.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Disability, or completion of first year Bachelor of Nursing studies and First Aid Level 2.
  • Current driver's license and access to a registered vehicle.
  • A Smartphone.
  • Ability to relate to older people and flexibility around the changing needs of clients.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Current WWC Card and an interest in working with children with complex needs.
  • Current Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check or willingness to apply for an NDIS check.
