We have an extraordinary opportunity to reshape the state's mental health system and make a meaningful difference to the way people experiencing mental illness are supported in Victoria.
With unprecedented investment in response to the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division is embarking on a pioneering policy challenge of creating a more effective mental health system and service delivery model in Victoria.
The Legislative Reform Unit plays a key role in establishing the foundational elements of these reforms. Multiple roles are available to contribute to a range of priority activities managed by the unit.
Sector support roles will maintain close ties with the legislative reform unit but may be embedded in other parts of the Division to ensure that the work aligns with concurrent system reforms and sector support.
In each of these roles, you will engage closely with stakeholders, work collaboratively within the Division and the sector, and have the opportunity to contribute to ensuring the new legislation achieves the vision of the Royal Commission.
