
Policy Advisor for Social Reform

The role involves providing expert advice to the Corrections Reform Response team in support of reforming the custodial correctional system. This requires a strong understanding of policy development, strategy, and research, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a complex and dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will lead policy projects, provide high-quality advice, and support the provision of clear recommendations to governance bodies. They will also establish and maintain relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, using influence and negotiation skills to achieve effective outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to significant reform in the corrections sector, working closely with key stakeholders to drive positive change.
About You- You have sound knowledge of Victorian government administrative processes and procedures.
- You possess proven track record in providing public sector policy advice within a complex social policy environment.
- You demonstrate strong conceptual, policy, and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex operational, policy, and legal issues.
