About Right at Home

Right at Home is a leading provider of in-home care services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. We are seeking an experienced Community Registered Nurse to join our team in a Part Time or Casual position, working up to 5 days a week to provide RN services to our clients in the Ballina area and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide RN services, including wound management, continence care, catheter care, palliative care, transitioning from hospital to home support, short-term post-surgery care, medication administration, general OB's, and wellness checks.
  • Assess, plan, and implement client care within your scope, considering physical, social, and psychological requirements and limitations.
  • Create and update care plans, health and home safety assessments, and risk management implementations to reflect developing needs and client goals.
  • Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are always met.
  • Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members, reporting directly to the Clinical Lead RN.
  • Complete administrative tasks, reporting, and restocking nursing kits as required.
  • Collaborate with clients' respective families, Allied Health professionals, GPs, specialists, and hospital personnel.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, clinical reporting, and clinical problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification, mandatory compliance, and proven practical experience.
  • Confidence with smartphones and software programs or willingness to learn.
  • Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.
  • Current Indemnity Insurance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • National Criminal Check.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence with no restrictions.
  • Registered vehicle.
  • NDIS Orientation module.
  • Covid-19 Infection Control certificate.
  • Birth Certificate or valid passport for identification purposes.
