We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to lead our estimating efforts for civil and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction means, methods, and cost structures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage estimating teams to prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Review project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract documents, to ensure accurate cost estimation.
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop pricing for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure scope alignment and effective communication.
- Prepare competitive bid packages and proposals for executive review, focusing on value-added services and strategic recommendations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in estimating for civil, infrastructure, or heavy construction projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
- Proficiency in estimating software, such as HCSS HeavyBid or Agtek.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple bids and deadlines while prioritizing tasks effectively.
