Job Overview

This is an ongoing, full-time position that involves overseeing the strategic implementation of Learning Support programs in Secondary contexts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing targeted intervention strategies and programs for students with higher learning needs.

The role requires collaboration with other executive staff to ensure the well-being and academic success of all students. This includes active oversight of Individual Education Plan (IEP) development, National Disability Coordination Officer Program (NCCD) processes, disability adjustments, and liaison with external providers.

In this position, you will work closely with teachers and learning support assistants to foster a supportive environment that caters to the diverse needs of students. You will also contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote equity and inclusion in education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing Learning Support programs that cater to the needs of students with higher learning requirements
  • Collaborating with teachers and learning support assistants to provide targeted interventions and support
  • Oversight of IEP development and NCCD processes to ensure compliance and effective support
  • Liaising with external providers to develop partnerships that enhance student outcomes
